Mom’s Battle Is Over

My Mom’s battle with cancer is over. The outcome is what it is but not what we had hoped for. I have lost friends to cancer and a close friend to non small cell lung cancer like Mom’s but this was , well, strangely, different. The result in all cases were the same, yet this one had a heavier weight to it. None the less we walked it out as we should, as human need to do to remain so.  Though there is no way to eloquently put it,  thankfully this chapter has ended. No more pain for Mom and Pops has the every-second-is-she-breathing pressure off his being. It does not alleviate the loss and pain he feels but in a mysterious way both are now at different yet new crossroads and at peace. Let the Journey begin…

Little Bit does not have to stand vigil with my Pops at Mom's side anymore. Rest in peace Mom.

  1. I lost my Mom and Dad long ago when I was a child and I lost my wife last June 2012 in young age. I feel my life in emptiness ,till now still feeling so . They went to their own new journey as I have to step on a new journey too and rebuild what is the best to the rest of my life. My thoughts and condolence are with you and your family.
